Armenia-India Business Council At World Food India 2024

From September 19 to 22, 2024, the Armenia-India Business Council (AIBC) participated in the third international exhibition, World Food India 2024, held at the Bharat Mandapam exhibition complex in New Delhi, India. This significant event provided a platform for Armenia to present its diverse food industry to a global audience.

Coordinated by the Ministry of Economy of Armenia, the national pavilion featured products from eleven Armenian companies, including alcoholic beverages, drinks, and processed foods. This collective representation highlighted Armenia’s rich culinary heritage and its potential in the global food market.

During the exhibition, Ambassador of Armenia to India, Vahagn Afyan, attended the opening ceremony and engaged with representatives from various Armenian companies. He explored the showcased products, emphasizing the importance of Armenia’s participation in such international forums to foster business relationships and explore new market opportunities.

World Food India 2024 attracted participation from over 90 countries, 26 Indian states and union territories, and 18 central ministries and allied government bodies. The event served as a convergence point for innovation, technology, and sustainability in the food processing sector, offering Armenian companies a valuable opportunity to connect with international buyers and industry leaders.

The Armenia-India Business Council remains committed to supporting Armenian businesses in their endeavors to expand into international markets. Participation in events like World Food India 2024 underscores the council’s dedication to promoting Armenia’s food industry and strengthening bilateral trade relations with India.
