AIBC Participates in Hospitality Investment Forum Yerevan 2025

Yerevan, June 18, 2025 — The Armenia-India Business Council’s Executive Director, Mr. Karen Mkrtchyan, attended the Hospitality Investment Forum Yerevan 2025 to explore new opportunities for Indo-Armenian collaboration in the hospitality and real estate sectors at the prestigious event.

Organized by Stone Development and hosted at the iconic Seven Visions Resort – The Dvin – the forum brought together key stakeholders from across several countries, including global hotel brands, international financial institutions, developers, architects, and government representatives.

Mr. Mkrtchyan actively engaged with a diverse array of participants, including executives from Stone Development, representatives of MyLer Resort, Armenia’s largest mountain tourism project, representatives of major hospitality brands, the banking and public sector, and investment groups. Through direct interactions and B2B networking sessions, he discussed potential areas of cooperation between Indian investors and Armenian hospitality initiatives, including:

  • Sustainable tourism development
  • Branded residence investments
  • Digitalization and smart infrastructure
  • Indian participation in the upcoming resort and condo-hotel projects

By participating in the forum, AIBC reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating bilateral partnerships that leverage India’s growing outbound investment capacity and Armenia’s emerging role as a regional tourism and investment hub.

Mr. Mkrtchyan highlighted AIBC’s role as a bridge between Indian businesses and Armenian opportunities, emphasizing the Council’s interest in supporting Indian investors exploring the hospitality, green energy, and infrastructure sectors in Armenia.

Following the forum, AIBC will continue to liaise with stakeholders he met during the event to advance India-Armenia business ties.
