The Armenia-India Business Council (AIBC) aims to strengthen bilateral tourism and business ties between Armenia and India. Mr. Karen Mkrtchyan, Executive Director of AIBC, participated in South Asia’s Travel & Tourism Exchange (SATTE) 2025, the region’s premier travel and tourism exhibition, held from February 20-22, 2025, at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, India.
During the event, he engaged with leaders from India’s travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors, exploring opportunities to position Armenia as a key destination for Indian travelers. He also met with Indian companies eager to introduce their travel packages and services to the Armenian market and will work to facilitate valuable connections with Armenian tour operators and travel agencies.
Recognizing the vast potential for growth, AIBC will develop a comprehensive plan to bring Armenian and Indian businesses closer in the tourism sector. Our goal is to create a sustainable framework for collaboration, enabling businesses on both sides to benefit from the increasing interest in travel between the two countries.
